Dr. Sarah Westen is the 2018 recipient of the American Psychological Association’s Division 54 Drotar-Crawford Pediatric Psychology Postdoctoral Research Grant. This is the inaugural Drotar Crawford award and honors the many contributions made by Denny Drotar to the field of pediatric psychology. Sarah’s proposed study will examine the impact of sleep on objective measures of blood glucose and self-report diabetes related distress, as well as other diabetes related psychosocial outcomes in youth with type 1 diabetes. This competitive research grant is for $10,000.
